Delete your account

In the app

The fastest way to delete your account is in the bips·ai app: go to Settings → Delete Account and confirm. Your account is erased immediately, with no further steps; the sections below describe exactly what is deleted and what is retained.

Deleting your bips·ai account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. Subscriptions are billed by the app store; you can manage or cancel yours anytime in your app store account settings.

By web request

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email — send your request from the email address associated with your account:

We will verify the request, delete your account and associated data, and email you a confirmation when complete — typically within 30 days after verification.

What is deleted

Deleting your account erases your personal data from bips·ai's active systems: your account record (email, display name, plan tier, and sign-in provider identifier), your federated identities, sessions, watchlists and their tickers, alerts, analysis-usage records, in-app preferences, and push notification tokens.

What is retained

A small set of operational records survives the erasure: security records of one-time sign-in codes (the email address a code was sent to, the requesting IP address, and timestamps), kept for abuse prevention, and cost-accounting, fair-use, and observability records keyed to a pseudonymous internal account identifier rather than your name or email (these can include the ticker symbols of the analyses and refreshes they record), retained for financial bookkeeping, abuse prevention, and reliability. Records of past purchases tied to your app-store transactions may be retained by the app store and our subscription-management provider as required for accounting, fraud prevention, and purchase validation.
